Sims LEDs
Pioneering retrofit light-up fretboard technology since 1994, Sims have amassed a vast wealth of knowledge and technique to retro-fitting LEDs into customers own existing guitars and basses without removing the fretboard or any frets.

Currently available colours include Aqua, Electric Blue, Yellow, Red, Green, and White.
Lenses
We have 2 standard dot marker LED lens types that you can choose from; Magnifier and Pearl. Both lens types are different in appearance when off and will have different light characteristics when illuminated due to the transparencies of the materials.
Magnifier Lens
Magnifier lenses are made of a clear material which allows more light through. This gives a brighter and more sparkly appearance when activated.
Pearl Lens
Pearl lenses have a traditional pearl appearance when off and provides a more pearlescent glow when activated.
Configurations
You can opt to have as many LEDs in your guitar or bass as you wish. Customers most commonly opt for configurations that replace their standard fret markers on fret positions 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 24 depending on how many frets your instruments has. This usually makes a total 9, 10 or 12 for either the Front Facing or Side Edge of the fretboard or 18, 20, 24 or 26 for both front and side edge.
If you would like front and side options together, they come as ALL ON or ALL OFF as standard.
Interchangeable separate front and side options (side only, front and side together) like that shown above are available and carry additional costs.

10 LEDs fitted = £500.00
12 LEDs fitted = £540.00
13 LEDs fitted = £560.00
Front Facing AND Side Edge LEDs (fitted together):
18 LEDs fitted = £660.00
20 LEDs fitted = £700.00
24 LEDs fitted = £780.00
26 LEDs fitted = £820.00
If you wish to have a different amount of LEDs fitted than stated above then please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Custom Shapes & Arrangements
Our standard LED arrangement is to have them replace your regular fret dot markers but any custom shape or arrangement is possible if so desired. We have completed all kinds of shapes and arrangements over the years, including LEDs in the headstocks and bodies.
